Welcome to "The Kafeneion"
"The Kafeneion," an old castle hangout with unique character, was recently renovated along with Ritsos Guesthouse, without losing any of its old charm. The shadow of the old fig tree is always welcoming, while the discreet colours of the Annie Sloan chalk paint palette create a relaxing atmosphere.
On the way to the sea, it is a great spot for early morning swimmers to enjoy their morning coffee, while those returning from their swim can quench their thirst with a homemade lemonade or a refreshing beer.
In the morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast of freshly squeezed juices, eggs, our own jams, homemade cakes, cookies and pies, while chatting with your friends and family about the program of the day.
In the afternoon, after your swim, a cool beer, tsipouro, ouzo and delicious appetizers await you.

Ritsos Guesthouse was the first organized accommodation in the Castle of Monemvasia. Along with Malvasia Hotel and Stellaki Mansion, it belongs to Malvasia Traditional Hotels group.
As soon as you arrive at the Castle of Monemvasia, go to Malvasia Traditional Hotels main reception on the cobbled high street, about fifty meters from the entrance gate, to be taken to your room. We will be waiting to assist you!
